- Vanilla Almond Sunflower Seed Butter -

Yield: about 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients


1 c. raw almonds
1 c. raw sunflower seeds
1 tsp. vanilla
1 TB. honey
2 TB. avocado oil

 

Directions


1. Soak nuts for at least 1 hour in enough water to cover top of them by about an inch.

2. Rinse nuts & pat dry with towel.

3. Put nuts into a food processor and blend, stopping every so often to scrape down sides with a spatula. Once you get a flour-like consistency, add the honey & oils.

4. Continue to blend & scrape sides until smooth; about 8-10 minutes.
